The Warrenton wrestling team competed against a pair of nonconference schools on Wednesday, earning two wins.The Warriors defeated Parkway North 48-27 and beat Parkway Central 54-24.Against Parkway North, Dominic Kennedy won by pin in 38 seconds at 106 pounds.Also claiming wins by fall were Seth Brierly (120 pounds), Dakota Werner (126 pounds), Dylan Wade (145 pounds), Dan Filipek (152 pounds) and Jacob Manion (182 pounds).Winning via forfeit was James Biship (138 pounds).Losing by fall was Brendon Cotner (285 pounds), while Steven Strohbeck (160 pounds) lost by a 5-4 decision.Against Parkway Central, Kennedy won by fall, as did Werner and Filipek.Winning by forfeit were Brierly, Brendan Brannock, Biship, Wade, Strohbeck and Cotner.ON THE MATSDerrick Forsythe Photo.
