A Warrenton woman, 36, was injured in a two-car accident in Warren County in the early morning of Aug. 8, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A Marthasville teen, 16, was traveling south on Highway 47 at Route D, when he tried to turn left. According to the patrol, the Warrenton woman was traveling north on the road at the same time and the teen failed to yield to the oncoming traffic.
He struck the front left side of the Warrenton woman’s vehicle. She sustained moderate injuries in the accident and was transported to Mercy Hospital Washington via ambulance.
The Marthasville teen was not wearing his seat belt in the accident, according to the patrol.
