Warrenton woman injured in I-70 crash

A Warrenton woman was transported to the hospital Monday, March 16 after her car struck an impact barrier at Interstate 70 eastbound at mile marker 195.

According to a Missouri Highway Patrol traffic crash report, a 2020 Ford Escape driven by an 83-year-old Warrenton woman traveled off the right side of the interstate where it struck an impact barrier. The collision caused debris from the barrier to strike a 2017 Chevrolet Bolt driven by a 20-year-old O’Fallon woman.

The driver of the Escape was taken by Warren County Ambulance to SSM Health St. Joseph Lake St. Louis with minor injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of the occupants involved in injury crashes.
