A Warren County woman was seriously injured Sunday, Aug. 7, in a one-car crash in Jefferson County.The Missouri Highway Patrol said Joan E. Bobbitt, 71, Warrenton, was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson County following the 3:02 p.m. crash.She was a passenger in a 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by John Bobbitt, 72, Warrenton, which crashed on Interstate 55.John Bobbitt was driving northbound when he lost control, the patrol said.When the vehicle ran off the left side of the road into a grassy median, the driver overcorrected, ran off the right side and overturned, according to the preliminary patrol report.John Bobbit sustained minor injuries in the crash and also was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson County for treatment, the patrol said.The crash happened south of the 166.2-mile marker.Car crash
