Monica Navarro, 52, of Warrenton, was charged with third-degree domestic assault in connection to an incident that took place on Aug. 25.
According to the probable cause statement filed by Warren County Sheriff’s Deputy Erick Alumbaugh, officers responded to a past domestic assault on Aug. 25 when the victim stated Navarro had threatened him in the garage with a kitchen knife.
Shortly after, the victim stated she returned to the garage shortly after and slapped him in the face four or five times.
The victim had injuries consistent with his story, according to the probable cause statement.
When officers tried to make contact with Navarro she attempted to shut the door to the home and run inside, according to the probable cause statement.
A warrant has been issued for her arrest and she is to be held without bond.
