A Warrenton woman was charged with possession of a controlled substance for an incident that occurred July 2, 2024.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Warrenton Police Department, an officer observed Phredia Moses of Warrenton walking on the side of the North East Service Road wearing a black backpack. Moses had multiple warrants and the officer made contact with her in front of Fast Lane. The officer attempted to detain Moses and she struggled briefly. A search of her bag resulted in the officer locating a glass pipe with white residue.
On Feb. 24, 2025 results from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime lab resulted in a positive test for methamphetamine and cocaine. A tan substance was also identified as fentanyl, according to the affidavit.
A video court hearing has been scheduled on these charges for Dec. 22, 2025.
