The Warrenton football team started off the season with a 24-7 win over cross-county rival Wright City.
The Wildcats led the game first after Dayton Humphreys threw a 34-yard pass to Nathan Turner to mark the first ever touchdown scored in Wright City's new stadium, America's Heartland Stadium.
Eli Schneider responded for the Warriors and ran for a 23-yard touchdown after intercepting a pass.
Warrenton's Jake Kinney tacked on three more points after a successful 25-yard field goal.
Junior Christian Blondin later scored from a two-yard run and Javon Jones scored off a three-yard run.
