The Warrenton girls volleyball team has opened the season with six wins in its first eight games of the season. The Warriors had won three straight until falling at home Tuesday to St. Charles (23-25, 22-25, 30-28, 23-25). Josey Schipper had 14 kills, while Olivia Morgan added nine and Ella Smith had six. Abby Hammerberg had 26 assists.
On Friday, Warrenton topped Sullivan (25-20, 25-20, 25-15) on the road. Schipper had a team-best 10 kills. The night before, the Warriors knocked off Orchard Farm (14-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-21) at home. Schipper had 12 kills and Morgan and Smith added nine and eight, respectively.
