Beginning May 24, local farmers and artisans will peddle their goods to buyers at the Warrenton Downtown Farmers & Artisan Market every Tuesday from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.The open air market will be located at the city pavilion behind city hall.A wide variety of handmade and homegrown items will be available. The Downtown Market is free to visitors of all ages. Ample parking is located around the market area. Restaurants and shops are also located within walking distance.This is a producer-only market. All vendors are required to grow, bake or make the products they sell. This leads to a wide variety of local produce, including fruits and vegetables, baked goods and crafts of all kinds.Farmers and artisans interested in selling their goods may obtain a permit by contacting John Claire at 636-466-4076.Farmer's Market
