Record Managing EditorA Warrenton teenager is being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond for allegedly raping a young child.Frankie D. Hoffman, 19, of the 400 block of McKinley, was charged Friday with three felony counts of first-degree statutory sodomy, first-degree attempted statutory rape and first-degree statutory rape. He remains in custody in the Warren County Jail. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance Aug. 26.Hoffman is accused of raping a a girl when she was 5 or 6 years old, according to a probable cause statement. The child is now 8.A Warrenton police officer was contacted in June 2014 by the girl’s mother who believed her daughter had been sexually assaulted by Hoffman. A few days earlier a babysitter, who was watching the victim and her younger sister, overhead a comment about how Hoffman “loved and kissed” on the girl. The victim immediately yelled at the other girl and told her they were not supposed to talk about it, according to the probable cause statement.The girl’s mother also told the police officer Hoffman was allegedly observed masturbating with the girl in a room when he stayed with them.During an interview held with authorities, Hoffman allegedly admitted to having sexual contact with the girl.Online court records do not list an attorney representing Hoffman.Frankie D.
