Warrenton Students recognized for Arbor Day poster contest

Four kids from local elementary schools were recognized at the May 7 Warrenton Board of Aldermen meeting for winning the Arbor Day coloring contest. Some of the kids were also present for a tree planting last month.

"I think it's something that's huge for kids. Whenever you are a winner in a competition you should be able to be praised and shown off a little bit," Mayor Eric Schlueter said.
