Record Managing EditorThe Warrenton boys soccer team received goals from three different players to snap a seven-game losing streak Monday.Tyler Busken, Nick Forrest and Cesar Rodriques each had goals in the 3-1 victory at Winfield. Dillen Mayfield had two assists and Busken had one. Goalie Matt Dildine allowed the lone goal in the first half as the Warriors led 2-1 at halftime. He made nine saves.The victory improved Warrenton to 2-7-1. The Warriors are back in action Tuesday at home versus St. Charles West.Liberty 3, Warrenton 1: Nick Forrest had the Warriors’ lone goal in last Thursday’s conference road game. Matt Dildine made nine saves in the loss. Warrenton trailed 1-0 at the half. All three of Liberty’s goals were scored by Andrew Stuhlman.Washington 7, Warrenton 3: Colter Bonnarens and Corbin Voyles had two goals apiece in the Blue Jays’ win over the Warriors last Wednesday. Michael Andrews, Brian Nelson and Matt Ruth all had goals for Washington, which led 3-2 at intermission. Warrenton’s goals came from Tyler Busken, Dillen Mayfield and Nick Forrest. Dillen played the majority of his minutes in goal and made seven saves. He allowed the Blue Jays’ first five goals. Conrad Schaumberg made four saves in relief.Soccer
