Warrenton seniors to direct one-act plays this week

The Warrenton High School Theatre Company will present its annual dessert production featuring seven one-act plays on Wednesday, Feb. 17, and Thursday, Feb. 18.

Each of the plays will be directed by senior thespian students. The performances will start at 6 p.m. on both nights at Warrenton High School.

Each night will feature different plays. On Wednesday, the scheduled plays are “Freak,” The Boy Who Cried Genie,” and “The Other Room.” On Thursday night, the plays are “This Side of Heaven,” “13 Ways to Screw Up Your College Interview” and “The Flying Doctor.”

The plays range in length from 10 to 30 minutes.

Tickets cost $5 for one night or $8 for a two-night pass. Attendees will receive one free dessert with each ticket. Additional desserts will be available for purchase.
