Warrenton Police Reports for April 22-28 and April 29 to May 5

Monday, April 22

Cabin Ridge Road, store employees witnessed a male skipping or failing to scan multiple items at self checkout, after he passed all points of sale he was apprehended and issued a citation. 

Tuesday, April 23

N State Highway 47, two vehicle accident. Vehicle one was parked at a fuel pump with the passenger door open when the door was struck by vehicle two. There was significant damage to vehicle two, which was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported. 

N State Highway 47, two vehicle accident. Vehicle one was turning into Taco Bell when it collided with vehicle two. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene. No injuries were reported. 

Wednesday, April 24

Warren County Center, a store employee witnessed a female fail to scan multiple items in her cart. After passing all points of sale the female was apprehended and issued a citation. 

NE Service Road, two vehicle accident. Vehicle one was traveling on the N Service Road when the vehicles in front of them stopped abruptly. Vehicle one attempted to avoid a collision and swerved into the opposite lane and struck vehicle two. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene. No injuries were reported. 

Friday, April 26

Warren County Center, a store employee witnessed a male skip scanning several items as they were checking out at the same register. After passing all points of sale the individual was apprehended and issued a citation. 

Saturday, April 27

W Booneslick Road, a juvenile was involved in a physical altercation with an adult female. Injuries were reported and a citation was issued. 

N State Highway 47, an employee witnessed a dog at large in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn. Officers took custody of the dog and transported it to the animal shelter. The owner was identified, contacted and issued a citation. 

McKinley Avenue, a citizen witnessed a subject enter their property to pick up a rock and throw it at their door. The subject left on foot and the incident is still under investigation. 

Thursday, May 2

Dryden Street, a citizen witnessed a female littering in Dyer Park. Law enforcement responded and located items which were believed to be dumped by a female who was identified, located and issued a citation. 

Saturday, May 4

Warren County Center, a store employee witnessed a male and female skip scanning several items. After passing all points of sale the two individuals were apprehended and issued citations.

Sunday, May 5

Maple Hill Townhouses, a citizen returned to their residence and discovered their front door had been kicked in by an unknown subject. Law enforcement entered and cleared the residence which appeared to be ransacked. The incident remains under investigation.
