The Warrenton Police Department released the following weekly incident report for the dates of May 15 through May 21.

Monday, May 15

• Two vehicle accident. Vehicle One was backing out of parking space and struck parked, unoccupied Vehicle Two. Driver One left the scene without providing any information. No injuries reported. Driver One later identified and issued a municipal citation for leaving the scene of an accident.
• Vandalism reported at City Park. Unknown subject(s) wrote graffiti on restroom walls. Estimated cost of loss unknown at this time.  

Tuesday, May 16

• Store personnel observed a subject inside the store that had been previously trespassed. Municipal citation issued for trespassing to white, male age 44.
• Two dogs running at large. The dogs’ owner has been issued previous warnings in reference to the dogs running at large. Citation issued. 

Thursday, May 18

• Two vehicle accident. Vehicle One pulled out of parking lot onto the roadway and struck passenger side of Vehicle Two. No injuries reported. Both vehicles were operational and able to be driven from the scene.  
• Unknown subject scratched unoccupied vehicle while the owners were inside shopping. Under investigation.

Friday, May 19

• Neighbors dog broke through fence and attacked residents dog. Aggressor dog placed on a 10-day at home quarantine. Victim dog was euthanized at vets office.  

Saturday, May 20

• Two vehicle accident. Vehicle One struck rear of Vehicle Two which had stopped to make a right turn at the end of the exit ramp. No injuries reported. Vehicle One was towed by Approved Towing due to disabling damage.
• Store employee observed woman fail to pay for several clothing items at a self checkout register. A traffic stop was conducted on the subject’s vehicle and the woman was taken into custody. White, female, age 45 issued municipal citation for shoplifting and expired plates.
