Warrenton Police Department report for September 25-October 1

The Warrenton Police Department released the following weekly incident report for the dates of September 25 through October 1.

Monday, September 25

  • Two vehicle accident. Vehicle Two was stopped on Highway 47 when Vehicle One went off the road behind her and rolled over. After Vehicle One rolled over it struck back passenger side of Vehicle Two. No injuries reported. Vehicle One was towed from the scene. Vehicle Two was driven away by the owner.  
  • Law Enforcement responded to a trespassing. Upon arrival a male subject was identified. Law enforcement located the subject a short distance away. Subject was apprehended and booked at the Warren County Jail. Citation issued. 

Tuesday, September 26

  • Unknown subject(s) damaged lock on resident’s front door. Under investigation. 

Thursday, September 28

  • Store employee witnessed a male subject skip scanning at the self check out. Male subject was apprehended and booked into the Warren County Jail. Citations x2. Trespassing and stealing. Estimated cost of loss $67.82. 

Friday, September 29

  • Two vehicle private property accident. Vehicle One was reversing out of a parking space when it struck the rear left corner of Vehicle Two. No injuries reported. Both vehicles were driven from the scene. 
  • Store employee witnessed a male subject try to return items and when refused the male subject started walking the store. Short time later male was witnessed picking up an item and walking past all points of purchase without payment. Subject was apprehended. Citation issued for stealing.
