Warrenton Police Department report for June 12-18

The Warrenton Police Department released the following weekly incident report for the dates of June 12 through June 18.

Monday, June 12

  • Store personnel observed woman conceal an item on her person and also fail to pay for several other items at a self checkout register. All items were recovered. Citation issued to white, female, age 25.
  • Store personnel observed a woman put a different price sticker on a T-shirt in order to get a reduced price. The woman also failed  to pay for other items at a self checkout register. All items recovered. Citation issued to white, female, age 43.  

Wednesday, June 14

  • Store employee observed woman fail to scan a cart full of items at a self checkout register. All items were recovered. Citation issued to white, female, age 61.
  • Unknown subject took both license plates from vehicle in parking lot. 

Saturday, June 17

  • Unknown driver struck the pool park sign and entrance gate and left the scene. Estimated cost of loss unknown at this time. Under investigation.  

Sunday, June 18

  • Graffiti observed on mens restroom door at dog park. Suspect(s) unknown. Under investigation.
  • Vehicle stopped for lane violation. The officer administered standard field sobriety tests and determined the driver was impaired. The driver was taken to the Warren County Detention Center and placed on a 12 hour hold pending pickup by a sober driver. Charges pending lab results.
