Warrenton Police Department report for July 17-23

The Record
The Warrenton Police Department released the following weekly incident report for the dates of July 17 through July 23.
Monday, July 17
Vehicle stopped for driver failing to use turn signal. Upon contact with Driver the Officer observed signs of impairment. After further investigation the Driver was taken into custody and issued citations: driving while intoxicated, fail to signal, fail to yield, and open container.
Tuesday, July 18
Report of man urinating in public. Glass smoking pipe with meth residue found during consent search of subject’s bag. White, male age 31 taken into custody. Charges pending lab results.
Man attempted to return merchandise to Rural King with fraudulent bar-codes. Under investigation.
Two vehicle accident. Vehicle One crossed the center line and struck oncoming Vehicle Two. No injuries reported. Upon Officer contact with Driver One the subject had the odor of an intoxicating beverage emitting from this breath. After further investigation it was determined the Driver was impaired. Citations issued: driving while intoxicated and failure to drive within a single lane-resulting in an accident. Both vehicles towed from the scene by approved towing.
Thursday, July 20
Two vehicle accident. Vehicle One failed to stop at stop sign and made a left turn directly in front of Vehicle Two. Driver Two stated she was unable to stop in time to avoid colliding with Vehicle Two. Both drivers were injured. Driver Two was transported to the hospital by EMS. Driver One refused further medical care. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Approved Towing.
Friday, July 21
Store personnel observed female customer conceal items and also not scan other items while at a self checkout register. Merchandise recovered. Citation issued.
Saturday, July 22
Two vehicle accident. Driver One was turning right onto North Service Road and his vehicle struck the drivers side of Vehicle Two. Driver Two was checked by EMS and he refused to be transported to the hospital. Both vehicles were operational and able to be driven from the scene.
Two vehicle accident. Driver One stated he applied his brakes due to stopped traffic and his vehicle failed to stop. Vehicle One collided with rear of Vehicle Two. No injuries reported. Both vehicles were operational and able to be driven from the scene.
