Warrenton Police Department report for January 22 to February 4

The Warrenton Police Department released the following weekly incident report for the dates of January 22 to February 4, 2024.

Monday, January 22

  • Wrigley Circle. Single vehicle accident. Vehicle one was traveling southbound on Wrigley Circle when it hit a patch of ice and slid into a brick mailbox. Vehicle left on scene due to weather conditions.

Saturday, January 27

  • North State Highway 47. Stealing. A store employee witnessed a male subject enter the store and go over to the liquor aisle. The subject then took two bottles of alcohol and left the store. The incident remains under investigation.

Monday, January 29

  • Warren County Center. Stealing. A store employee witnessed a female subject pick up several items and conceal them on her person. After passing all points of sale, the female subject was apprehended. Estimated cost of loss was $76.91. Citation issued.

Friday, February 2

  • Warren County Center. Stealing. A store employee witnessed a male subject select multiple items and conceal them on his person. The male then passed all points of sale and exited the store. The subject was apprehended and issued a citation. Estimated cost of loss was $35.80.
