Warrenton Police Department report for December 4-10

The Warrenton Police Department released the following weekly incident report for the dates of December 4 to December 10.

Wednesday,  December 6

  • Warren County Center, stealing. Store employee witnessed a woman place jewelry items into her purse. The woman proceeded to check out, where she failed to scan multiple items after passing all points of sale. The woman was apprehended. The estimated cost of loss was $61.98. A citation was issued for stealing. 

Thursday, December 7

  • Vosholl Avenue and Highway 47, accident. Two vehicle accident. Vehicle one slowed down due to traffic conditions on Highway 47. Vehicle two collided with the rear of vehicle one. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were driven from the scene. 
  • East Veterans Memorial Parkway, accident. Two vehicle accident. Vehicle one was merging into the right lane from the center turn lane onto Highway 47 and collided with the driver’s side of vehicle two. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were driven from the scene. 

Saturday, December 9

  • Warren County Center, stealing. A woman went into Wal-Mart to pick up items. The woman’s rear license plate was missing when she returned to her vehicle. Estimated cost of loss was $32.50.
