Warrenton Police Department report for August 14-20

The Warrenton Police Department released the following weekly incident report for the dates of August 14 through August 20.

Tuesday, August 15

  • Two vehicle accident. Driver One became distracted and his vehicle collided with the rear of vehicle two. No injuries reported. Both vehicles were operational and able to be driven from the scene. 
  • Juvenile female concealed bottle of vodka under her hoodie and walked out of store. Juvenile referral will be completed and forwarded to the Warren County Juvenile Office. Estimated cost of loss $13.98. Alcohol not recovered. 
  • Juvenile female concealed two bottles of alcohol in her hoodie and left the store. A juvenile referral will be complete and forwarded to the Warren County Juvenile Office. Estimated cost of loss $29.98. Alcohol not recovered. 
  • Man concealed two bottles of vodka and left the store without paying. Citation issued for stealing. Estimated cost of loss $69.98. Alcohol not recovered.  

Wednesday, August 16

  • Report of woman acting suspicious and attempting to take off her clothes inside Waffle House. Subject was asked to leave the business and she became irate. The woman resisted officers attempts to handcuff her, but she was ultimately taken into custody. Arrestee was transported to the Warren County Jail Facility. Citations issued for trespassing and resisting arrest. 

Thursday, August 17

  • Resident stated a woman came to her front door and started yelling for somebody to let her in. The woman shouted that someone inside owed her $100.00. The resident told the woman to leave and as she left she scratched the trunk of a vehicle parked in the driveway with an unknown object. Under investigation. 
  • Store employee observed woman conceal several items in her backpack. The woman then left the store without paying. Estimated cost of loss $39.28. Items recovered. Citation issued.  

Friday, August 18

  • Resident allowed acquaintance to stay at her home overnight. When subject left several items were taken. Items not recovered. A short time later the officer observed the subject walking down the street and he was taken into custody for a warrant out of St. Charles. 
  • Two vehicle accident. Vehicle One struck rear of Vehicle Two as it made a left turn. No injuries reported. Driver One left the scene before law enforcement arrived. Officer made contact with Driver One at his residence where he was arrested on an outstanding warrant. 
  • Officer attempted to make contact with subjects walking out of convenience store. One subject had a bottle of vodka concealed in his hoodie which had been taken from the convenience store. The other subject had several warrants through Warren and adjacent counties and stated he had a methamphetamine pipe in his pocket. Subject was arrested.  

Sunday, August 20

  • Vehicle stopped for no license plates. Several methamphetamine pipes and a filled syringe were found during vehicle search. White, male, age 39, arrested for active warrants. Drug charges pending lab results. 
  • Officer observed a man on bicycle traveling on the roadway without any lights. When the officer approached the man the subject fled on foot. Two assisting officer located the man hiding in the grass near the railroad tracks. White, male, age 55, arrested for a felony warrant out of Warren County and he was charged with resisting arrest for a felony.

X
