A Warrenton man, 54, was seriously injured while riding a bicycle after he was hit by a truck on the morning of July 29 in Warren County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
He was traveling on the north outer road of Interstate 70 near the 204 mile marker, when a second Warrenton man, 44, came up behind him in a pickup truck.
The second Warrenton man did not see the bicyclist and struck him from behind, according to the patrol.
The bicyclist was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis via ambulance.
The second Warrenton man did not report any injuries, according to the patrol.
