A 26-year-old Warrenton man was killed in an ATV accident on private property along Highway 47 Saturday evening, March 30.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Mitchell J. Belcher was pronounced dead at 5:41 p.m. at the scene. The crash was reported at 5:10 p.m. in the 25000 block of Highway 47.
According to the preliminary crash report, Belcher was driving an ATV on a gravel driveway on private property when he lost control. The ATV began to skid, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole.
