Thomas Rodriguez, 27, of Warrenton, was traveling south on U.S. Highway 61 in St. Charles County in the morning of Sept. 17 when he struck Adebabay Gidey's vehicle. Gidey, 55, of St. Louis was then driven into the rear of the vehicle in front of him, driven by Christopher Bohnert, 36, of Wentzville, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Both Adebabay and Bohnert were stopped in traffic.
While Rodriguez, Gidey and Bohnert were uninjured in the accident, a 15 year-old juvenile in Gidey's vehicle received minor injuries in the accident. He was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis by the St. Charles County Ambulance District.
