A Warren County man accused of sexually abusing a young girl is charged in a felony complaint.John K. Wilmes Jr., 31, Warrenton, was being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond in the Warren County Jail in the case. Wilmes is charged with one count on first-degree statutory sodomy — deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 years old.The complaint alleges that the incidents occurred between Dec. 24, 2013, and June 15, 2014.According to a probable cause statement filed in the case, the investigation stemmed from a hotline call involving sexual abuse of a girl currently 9 years old.In an interview June 10, 2016, the victim described the alleged incidents.On July 22, Wilmes admitted that he had engaged in sexual activities with the girl, according to the court statement.Crime
