A Warrenton man will spend 11 years behind bars after pleading guilty to running over and killing a friend while intoxicated.Matthew Charles Menke, 22, pleaded guilty in Montgomery County court Wednesday to second degree murder and driving while intoxicated. He also received six months for the DWI to be served concurrently.Menke was originally charged with involuntary manslaughter and driving while intoxicated following the Aug. 2012 death of 21-year-old Amanda DiGirolamo, also of Warrenton.Warrenton Police Chief Greg Houdyshell called it a “domestic that went very bad.”For more on this story see Thursday's Warren County Record.Warrenton Man Gets 11 Years For Running Over Girlfriend
