A Warrenton man with a lengthy criminal record is back in court on drug trafficking charges.Robert “Bobby” E. Blevins Jr., 34, is charged in a new felony complaint with possession with intent to distribute heroin.Blevins allegedly admitted to investigators that he would obtain heroin daily from one of three sources and would distribute the drug to three or four people to support his addiction, according to a probable cause statement filed in court.Blevins was arrested July 28 after officers served a search warrant at his home in the 600 block of Booneslick Road.Investigators seized numerous items related to the use and distribution of heroin. Some items tested positive for heroin, according to the probable cause statement. The case was investigated by officers with the Warrenton Police Department, Warren County Sheriff’s Department, and the East Central Drug Task Force.Blevins was released from prison in July 2012 after serving part of a 10-year sentence in a drug case, and last month he waived arraignment and pleaded not guilty in a 2014 felony stealing case that is still pending in Warren County Circuit Court, according to online court records.Crime
