A Warrenton man is facing felony charges following a Tuesday, Sept. 1, search of his home by the East Central Drug Task Force.
Sean J. Page has been charged with second-degree drug trafficking, delivery of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance.
Page was arrested on an outstanding warrant when he was located at the residence, and a subsequent search of his bedroom revealed drugs including methamphetamine, fentanyl, and crack cocaine, according to investigators.
Three separate baggies of suspected methamphetamine were located in Page’s bedroom, weighing a total of approximately 18 grams, according to a probable cause statement.
Investigators also found 52 pill capsules of suspected fentanyl inside of “a new unopened bag of ‘Nerds’ candy,” according to the statement, and one of these pills field-tested positive for fentanyl.
Investigators additionally located approximately 1 gram of suspected crack cocaine in a separate baggie, which field-tested positive for the presence of cocaine, according to the statement, as well as a methamphetamine pipe and a digital scale with drug residue on it.
Page, born in 1971, “has a long history with narcotics,” according to the probable cause statement, including drug-related convictions in 1995 and 2020, according to an amended felony complaint in the case. He is being held without bond at the Warren County Jail.
