Warrenton man dies after motorcycle crash

A Warrenton man died Saturday night, March 16, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash on Veterans Memorial Parkway. A woman also involved in the crash had serious injuries, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.John D. Sinclair, 43, Warrenton, was pronounced dead at 11:36 p.m. by a doctor at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, according to a preliminary crash report. He was flown by helicopter to the hospital after the crash, which happened at 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Stracks Church Road, the highway patrol said.A passenger on the motorcycle, Tanya R. Sinclair, was also flown to the hospital with serious injuries, according to the patrol report.The crash happened when the driver of a Chevrolet Monte Carlo traveling north on Stracks Church Road failed to yield at the intersection, the patrol said. The front of the Chevrolet allegedly struck the motorcycle being ridden by the Sinclairs, which was traveling westward on Veterans Memorial Parkway.The impact caused both motorcycle riders to be thrown from the vehicle. The highway patrol said they were both wearing helmets.The driver of the Chevrolet was not reported to have any injuries.Crash
