Austin Anderson, 33, of Warrenton, was charged with third-degree domestic assault, a felony, and second-degree property damage, in connection to an incident on Aug. 14.
According to the probable cause statement filed by the Warrenton Police Department, officers were dispatched to an address in Warrenton for a reported physical domestic assault.
Officers made contact with Anderson when they arrived, who said he and the victim had gotten into an argument and he had broken part of the door frame as the victim had locked him out of the house.
The victim told officers she had locked him out of the residence during the argument, but he had forced his way through the door, breaking the door frame.
