Sean Page, 54, of Warrenton, was charged with second-degree domestic assault in connection to an Aug. 25 incident.
According to the probable cause statement filed by the Warrenton Police Department, officers responded to a physical disturbance on Aug. 25 and found Page in the stairwell of the building.
He stated he had just gotten into an argument with the victim. He had several deep scratches on his neck which he said were caused by the victim, whom he refused to identify, according to the probable cause statement.
Officers then made contact with the victim outside the building, who said she and Page had gotten into an argument and he had pinned her to the bed and choked her after she attempted to leave the room.
Officers observed injuries consistent with the victim’s story, including a cut above her nose on her right eyebrow, according to the probable cause statement.
When officers confronted Page about the victim’s statements, he admitted to pinning her to the bed by grabbing her wrist during the argument.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest and he is to be held without bond.
