Warrenton man charged with improper use of credit/debit card

A Warrenton man was charged with fraudulent use of a credit/debit device for a series of transactions across four different counties: Warren, Montgomery, St. Charles and Lincoln totaling $17,265.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Warrenton Police Department, on April 24, an officer with the department responded to a business for a report of a theft.

According to the affidavit, a fleet fuel card issued to a previous employee who had since passed away was used 145 times at 12 different locations. The officer identified Joshua Jason Lee Graves of Warrenton as one of the suspects who used the card. Graves admitted to using the card at several locations and is responsible for $1,339.28 of the charges, according to the affidavit.

A $5,000 cash only bond was issued for Graves arrest Nov. 5.
