A Warrenton man was arrested Feb. 5 for allegedly striking and choking his wife during an argument.Brandon Castleberry, 21, is charged with second-degree domestic assault.Warrenton police were called to a residence on Villas Drive at 12:45 p.m. Feb. 5 for a report of a domestic disturbance between Castleberry and his wife.The victim told police that her husband slapped her, choked her and made statements about killing her, while their two children were present, according to Warrenton police.Police stated the victim had red marks on her throat and face consistent with an assault.Castleberry told police the couple had an argument, which escalated into a fight.He was released from jail on a $10,000 bond with a special condition that he cannot have any contact with the victim.Arrest
