The city of Warrenton has a new website and residents are encouraged to give input on the design. “Our old website wasn’t as user friendly. This one is easier to navigate,” said Brandi Walters, assistant director of operations. “We wanted to make sure it was something all residents could easily navigate through and put more information out there. (Such as) there’s now a spot for news and updates.”While the site looks different, the web address is the same: www.warrenton-mo.org.In addition to news and updates, the new site has a calendar and more expansive sections about city amenities. Much of the news and events that will be featured on the new website will also appear on the city’s Facebook page, Walters said, to keep multiple web audiences informed.City staff worked with an outside company for about one year to redesign the website, she said. She added that the new site allows for growth.“Eventually, residents can make a report, like a pothole, and they will be able to follow it through the resolution process. That’s in the works.”Residents are encouraged to email their comments and suggestions about the new site to Walters at bwalters@warrenton-mo.org.City launches new site
