A 37-year-old man from Wentzville was seriously injured in a three car accident that took place in St. Charles County at 8:25 p.m. on Nov. 5, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A 37-year-old man from Wentzville was seriously injured in a three-car accident that took place in St. Charles County at 8:25 p.m. on Nov. 5, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A Warrenton juvenile, 16, was also involved in the accident along with a 47-year-old man form Brooklyn, New York.
All three drivers were traveling west on Interstate 70, with the Wentzville man traveling in the left lane while the juvenile and the Brooklyn man were traveling in the right lane ahead of him.
The Wentzville man was traveling too fast for the road conditions and, according to the patrol, lost control of his vehicle. The front right side of his vehicle struck the rear left side of the juvenile's
The juvenile's vehicle then spun out and struck the concrete median while the Wentzville man continued in the right lane and struck the trailer behind the Brooklyn man's vehicle, where it became stuck.
The Wentzville man was the only one to report injuries in the accident, according to the patrol, and was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis via ambulance. All three individuals involved in the accident were wearing their seatbelts.
