Several new Warrenton police officers were introduced during the city’s Dec. 5 board of aldermen meeting.
Chief Larry Ellard introduced new police officers Robert Kamp, Patrick Chase, Christopher Clark, Alexander Scrivner, and Caleb Grimes. All have all started with the department since Nov. 20.
Also introduced at the meeting was new records clerk Lisa Schoenholtz, who started work with the department on Nov. 28.
“Welcome aboard,” Mayor Eric Schlueter said. “You’re probably allowing the chief to wipe his brow from the sweat he had, with eight spots,” Mayor Eric Schlueter said. “That’s a lot of relief. Probably feels good.”
“Stay safe out there gentlemen, and thank you,” Alderman Larry Corder said.
Ellard said after the meeting more officers are in the process of joining the department.
