The city of Warrenton will host the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive on July 2. The drive will take place in the City Annex Building at 202 W Walton St. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Aside from the importance of donating blood to shore up supplies for hospitals, the drive also includes a competition between local first responder agencies for who can donate the most.
Participants can choose an agency to support when they donate, they will also receive a free t-shirt.
Those interested in registering may do so at redcrossblood.org by entering the code BOBWarrenton in the "make an appointment" field. From there participants can schedule an appointment for the drive.
