The Warrenton High School Chapter of the National Honor Society held its new member induction ceremony Nov. 2 at the high school.

Thirty new members were inducted, bringing the total number of National Honor Society students to 73 members.

National Honor Society is an organization based on scholarship, character, leadership and service. Students spend hours volunteering within their school and the community throughout the school year and during the summer. The organization teaches leadership skills. Many members hold leadership positions in other school clubs.

National Honor Society officers take charge of planning meetings, community service projects, teacher appreciation days, fundraisers and other activities.
