Warrenton High School seniors will graduate Saturday morning, May 30, in a 10 a.m. commencement at the high school football field.
Families will be seated on the football field in blocks of eight chairs, with 6 feet separating each block. About 200 graduates will be spaced along the surrounding track and will do a “victory lap” as they receive their diplomas, school officials said.
The ceremony was designed to account for social distancing needs during the COVID-19 outbreak, and will omit several traditional elements of the graduation for that reason.
