The public is invited to attend an open house hosted by the Warrenton Fire Protection District on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m.The event will be held at Station 1, located at 26625 South Highway 47 in Warrenton.Fire prevention information will be provided and attendees will have the opportunity to view the fire trucks and other equipment used by firefighters. Demonstrations will also be held, weather permitting.Children can also visit with Smokey the Bear and Patches the Fire Truck.Free refreshments will be served courtesy of the Ladies Auxiliary.Warrenton Fire Protection District
