A comeback effort fell just short for Warrenton on Thursday as the Warriors dropped the 41-40 decision on the road.
After leading 18-14 at halftime, Warrenton fell behind by five points at the end of the third quarter before the game ended in defeat.
Brodey Meier led Warrenton (1-5) with 15 points while Carter Martin added nine.
Cam Servais led Union (3-2) with 11 points while Blake Siess added 10 in the win.
Warrenton will next host Howell North (1-2) on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
