Five members of Warrenton government boards were reappointed to their positions Tuesday, Jan. 7.Two members of the Warrenton Building Board — Curt Alger and Jon Luetkemeyer — were given additional two-year terms.The building board hears appeals of decisions made by the city’s building department, including code enforcement. Two members of the Warrenton Planning and Zoning Commission were reappointed to four-year terms. They are Jason Cullom and Dan Durbin.The planning and zoning commission reviews applications for construction permits, subdivisions and other city improvements. The commission’s recommendations are given to the Warrenton Board of Aldermen for final approval.Jan Palitzsch has been reappointed to the Warrenton Tourism Commission for another three-year term.The tourism commission produces material and programs to draw visitors to the Warrenton area.The reappointments were approved without objection during the board of aldermen’s regular meeting.City of Warrenton
