Destinee Frost had three hits and a two-run saving catch in the first inning to help push Warrenton past Smithville, 4-0, Friday in the Class 3 semifinal in Springfield.Kaylee Anderson shut out Smithville in seven innings of work.The Warriors (26-1) got on the board in the first inning thanks to back-to-back doubles by Anderson and Jenny Jansen.Frost drove in Jansen in the following at-bat, and did the same on a single in the third inning to give Warrenton a 3-0 lead.Seven different Warriors reached base in the win.The Warriors will face Sullivan Saturday at 2 p.m..
