The Warren County R-III School Board unanimously approved its tax rate for 2025 at its Aug. 28 meeting.
The board approved a total tax rate of $4.0280 per $100 of assessed value, which is a decrease from their rate of $4.2795 per $100 of assessed value in 2024.
The real estate assessed value went up 17.49% as well as the personal property value with 13.54%, which brings a total of a 16.60% increase in value and a $442,092,980 total assessed value. This includes new construction.
The district’s assessed value went up $62,953,827 compared to last fiscal year which allowed for the decrease in the tax levy.
