R-III RECOGNITION — The Warren County R-III School Board honored recent graduate Troy Anderson at their meeting on July 11 for making the Class 5 all-state basketball team. The last time a Warrior from the boys basketball team was named all-state was in 2003.
Anderson recently graduated from Warrenton High School and will go on to play collegiate basketball at Truman State University. In addition to all-state, Anderson's other honors from his senior year include being named to the Class 5 District 4 all-district first team, the district's player of the year, GAC North all-conference first team and all-academic team. In high school, Anderson also played golf and baseball and was a member of FBLA.
