The 49th annual Farm Heritage Days, hosted by the Warren County Old Threshers Association, is scheduled for the weekend of Aug. 14 to 16.
Vendor and exhibitor setup begins Friday, Aug. 14, at the Agricultural Heritage Museum, 29550 Palmyra Rd., Warrenton. Grounds open at 5 p.m. and the kitchen opens at 5:30 p.m., with the Mid-MO Derby Mowers Lawnmower Demolition Derby starting at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, Aug. 15, vendor and exhibitor setup begins at 8 a.m., grounds open at 9 a.m., and the kitchen opens at 10 a.m. The antique tractor and equipment show starts at 10:30 a.m., followed by demonstrations on the grounds at 11 a.m., Parade of Power starting at 1 p.m., sawmill demonstration at 2 p.m., and kids pedal pull and games at 3 p.m.
“Best in Show,” which guests vote on during the antique tractor and equipment show, will be presented at 4 p.m., followed by the adult pedal pull and out of field tractor pull at 5 p.m. There will also be live music from Vera Blum and the Silver Wings Band from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Sunday, Aug. 16, grounds open and tractor games on the track start at 9 a.m., kitchen opens at 10 a.m., and demonstrations on the grounds begin at 10:30 a.m. The Mid-Mo Old Tractors Club Antique Tractor Pull starts at noon, followed by the watermelon eating contest at 2 p.m. and raffle drawings at 3 p.m.
Other attractions during Farm Heritage Days include barrel train rides for the kids, blacksmith demonstrations, and a live working bee hive that guests can visit. Admission is a $10 suggested donation per car for parking. For more information, visit www.warrenco-mothreshers.org.
