Seven Warren County officials were sworn into office Friday, Dec. 30, during a short ceremony at the county administration building.Six of the officials sworn in are current officeholders who were re-elected.New to the office of public administrator is Melissa Dempsey. A lifelong county resident, Dempsey previously worked in the 12th Circuit Juvenile Office for 25 years before retiring.She was sworn into office by Presiding Circuit Court Judge Wes Dalton, who congratulated Dempsey on overcoming challengers in the primary and general elections.The re-elected county officials took their oaths of office simultaneously, administered by County Clerk Barb Daly. They include Southern District Commissioner Hubie Kluesner, Northern District Commissioner Dan Hampson, Sheriff Kevin Harrison, Assessor Wendy Nordwald, Coroner Glenn Craig and County Surveyor Robert Lewis.
