Warrenton High School will have a new principal when the 2014-2015 school year.
Nick Heggemann will succeed current principal Jeremy Way, who has accepted a leadership post in another district.
Heggemann has been principal at Winfield High School, where he worked closely with R-III District Superintendent Dr. Jim Chandler when Chandler worked there before coming to Warrenton in 2013.
Way will become assistant superintendent in the Meramec Valley R-III District in Pacific.
Heggemann’s announcement was made during last week’s R-III school board meeting.
