Step back into a bygone era this spring as the Warren County Historical Society hosts an Easter Tea Luncheon at the Historic Schowengerdt House at 308 E. Booneslick Rd, on Saturday, March 28.
The event promises an afternoon of captivating conversation and culinary delight within the walls of the 1866 Victorian residence. Guests are encouraged to celebrate in style by dressing up and donning their favorite Easter bonnets for the occasion.
Attendees will be treated to a light luncheon and delectable desserts, paired with a specially crafted tea blend titled "Schowengerdt Gardens." This unique tea features ingredients selected from the historic home’s gardens. The afternoon will also feature guest speaker Cindy Trotter from Therapeuo Wellness, who will share insights into the health benefits of various teas.
Following the luncheon and presentation, guests will have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the three-story home, which has undergone extensive restoration to preserve its unique heritage and period-accurate furnishings.
Tickets are $35 per person and available for purchase in advance at the Warren County History Museum or online through the Warren County Historical Society website.
