Warren County 4-H held its 4-H Royalty Coronation on Sunday, Feb. 22. The coronation was the culmination of a countywide 4-H fundraising effort to raise funds for programming and scholarships in Warren County.
Over the last several weeks, the community and Warren County 4-H came together to support the candidates, and candidates used skills learned in 4-H to garner that support. Candidates put public speaking and entrepreneurship skills to work, many stepping out of their comfort zones to tell prospective supporters what they loved about 4-H. Additionally, candidates showcased their passion for their 4-H projects by offering baked goods and other food products, babysitting, pet care and more to donors.
